Festivals

Each year, we showcase authentic Nigerian culture by participating in local events, For example, NAMV serves traditional Nigerian dishes at the Lowell Folk Festival (the nation’s second-largest free folk festival) and performs at the annual African Cultural Festival in Lowell. Our members also host cultural symposiums, independence day celebrations, and workshops that teach Nigerian dance, art, and history.
